Youth Marketing

Youth Marketing focuses on communicating, interacting and influencing young people, typically defined to be within the age range 12 to 34 years old.

This age group is especially important to marketers and advertisers because the youths are transitioning from childhood to adulthood and are thus discovering and experience new things, products, and experiences. Many of the attitudes, preferences, and behaviors developed through this transition carry on into adulthood.

Youth Marketing is generally more cutting edge than traditional Marketing because young consumers are more likely to use new technology and media so will be more open to new ways of message delivery and interaction.
