Compelling Experiences are experiences that evoke interest, attention, and/or admiration in a powerfully positive and engaging way. As the root word of Compelling is "compel", which means to force or drive a course of action, we like to think of compelling experiences as those that make you want to take action. What action is taken afterwards depends on the goal of the compelling experience. In marketing, the action that is being asked is usually either buying a product, taking a survey, or sharing your thoughts with a friend.
Compelling experiences in relation to marketing could include a product launch, a concert, guerrilla marketing, product sampling, or an educational event. Through showcasing the product as part of an exciting experience that evokes emotion, you could direct a positive and engaging action for your consumer.
